Make sure you have a Privacy Policy on your website

Why you need a Privacy Policy for your website

If you collect personal information (PI) about your customers from your website (or offline), you will need to have a Privacy Policy in place and this will need to be available from your website with easy access for your users.

New systems to benefit our clients

Soon to arrive: New systems and benefits for Azapi clients

Our company goal for 2016 is “Automation and sustainability”. We started at the end of last year and worked feverishly towards our goal. The 1st of August 2016 has been set as D-day when we aim to roll the system out to our entire client base.

Make sure your passwords are protected

Protect your digital belongings

Research shows that the average person has nineteen passwords to remember…and most people use the same password, or slight variations thereof, for all their accounts.

Today, 5 May, is World Password Day. Most of us would think of “passwords” as the characters we enter after the username field, but the use of passwords date back many years. Previously used in secret societies and espionage to confirm the message as true or to gain access, it now protects our digital lives and very personal information such as banking and medical records, our emails, social media accounts, and much more. Should your password(s) get into the wrong hands, the loss and damages could be great as well as the treat of identity theft.

Is your website accessible to users on their mobile devices?

Google takes mobile search a step further

The second wave of Google’s Mobilegeddon is upon us after it’s launch in April of last year. What does this mean for your business and how can you use these changes  to your advantage?

The move from desktop to mobile continues and cannot be ignored by any business owner or marketer.  Last year Google announced that preference will be given to sites that have adapted their design to be mobile friendly. These sites would in future rank higher in a Google search than those that do not comply. Mobile friendly sites are also indicated on the SERP (search engine result page) offering mobile users the opportunity to choose a site relevant to their current usage method.

Winter Productivity

How to increase productivity over the winter months?

Traditionally winter is seen as a quieter time. The beaches run empty and less people frequent their favourite restaurants. Business, in general slows down. This, however, is no reason to be less productive. In fact, make use of this time to ensure your systems are working the way they should in order to optimise your business lead activity.

Connecting the dots

Creating a strong online presence has become fundamental to any business. This can be as elementary as making use of one social media platform or involve several mediums, such as a website with an e-commerce system, Google AdWords, an extensive social media strategy on multiple platforms and many more. Whether you choose a simplistic or more complicated route, you will need the right skills, systems and experience to achieve the desired results.

As a business owner, you need to focus on building your company. Your time should not be consumed by trying to figure out how to use the web to your advantage. Rather partner with a supplier who will add value to your company. A partner that will connect the dots between your company, its goals, target audience, your products and services and your web presence.

World Wide Web

W3 in 1994: the year of new beginnings

Once upon a time long, long ago we sent and received important documents using an odd creature who sometimes ate the paper we fed him and were always sending distress signals everywhere. Those were the days of the almighty fax. How this wonderful invention helped us to be more productive!

A few years later the World Wide Web and subsequently email entered the scene. Many still remember the scratching modem connecting sound and arguments with family members that then picked up the phone. Then, companies did not have a dedicated domain name and employees did not have email.
