Depending on your type of business, the next few weeks are either a time of…
You know you deserve your holiday, and the good news…it is just around the corner. We would like you to enjoy your break and be well prepared. Here are a few reminders before you hit the road.
Let your clients know you will not be able to respond to their email immediately. Activate your “Out of Office” auto responders which informs the sender that you are away. Also let your clients know when you will be able to attend to their query. If you have somebody on support, provide this information.
Do you receive enquiries through online forms on your website? Update your auto enquiry message to let the enquirer know that you will not be able to attend to their request at present. This is also a good opportunity to wish clients well over the festive season.
Every year we see an increase in email fraud as we near the festive season. Please be vigilant and careful when you suspect all is not well with an incoming email. Read our blog on email spoofing to find out what to do in the event of a spoof attempt and how to prevent it.
It is a known fact that we are more creative when we are relaxed. So, while enjoying that pina colada you might start to envisage a whole new path for your online presence to be explored in the New Year. Take your website to the next level and let it work for you. Have you considered online bookings, an online store, being more visible in search results, updated content, a regular blog or news sections or perhaps a brand new design? Contact us and let’s explore the possibilities.
A few trends we need to keep in mind for the New Year:
- Mobile will completely dominate desktop,
- Online advertising will become more important,
- Unique, high quality content will be key,
- Social media platforms will become conversion channels,
- An increase in video, especially video advertising.
