I’m new to this whole website thing, how does it work?

How much does a website cost?

The cost of a website can vary depending on various factors, just like the cost of a house may vary. Though our website projects generally start in the R10,000 range for basic business sites and range upward depending on your unique needs.

How long does it take to design and build a website?

The time it takes to produce a website depends on the size and complexity of your site and the quality of content that you have ready to go. A basic website typically takes around 4 weeks from beginning to end.

Do I need my own domain name and web hosting?

Yes, we can help you you get this set up and we can work with your existing provider. We are also a web hosting company  and can register and host your website.

Will my website work on mobile devices?

Yes it will. All the websites we design work on all devices. Depending on your requirements we can design and develop your site using responsive design so that the site is optimised for mobile devices.

Do you do eCommerce/Online Store websites?

We sure do!

What is a Content Management System?

A Content Management System is a tool that allows you to maintain the pages of your website yourself, without the need for any technical skills. A CMS allows you to edit and add pages, images, products or blog entries to your website. No additional software is required – all you need is a web browser and an internet connection.

Do you provide training?

Yes we provide all our clients with training on maintaining their website.

Can you help me with Social Media and Email Marketing?

We sure can. As part of your project we can include social media and email marketing services.

What is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?

Search Engine Optimisation is all about getting your website higher up in the search results on search engines such as Google. The higher up the results you are the more traffic (and customers) you’re likely to get.

There are many aspects that go into achieving good SEO, and one of the most important is the copy (words) on your website. Focus on well written, keyword rich and appropriate content is the key.

Do you write the content for my site?

We don’t directly write your content, however if you need help with this we can put you in contact with a copywriter who specialises in writing for the web.

Can you design my logo?

We focus on what we’re good at – designing and building websites, however if you need someone to creating your logo for you we have relationships with several graphic designers who specialise in logos and branding.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is your address on the internet. Typically this would be something like yourcompany.co.za

What is web hosting?

Web hosting is a service that allows your website to be viewed on the Internet. It’s basically a computer housed in a data centre that runs your website and email.

Can you take photos for my website?

We can buy stock imagery for you or please contact us for a list of our preferred partners contact information.

Can you design business cards, brochures or help with my company branding?

Please contact us for a list of our preferred partners contact information to help with your logo, branding requirements.

I would like to do Online Marketing, can you help?

Yes, we offer Pay-Per-Click marketing & management to help in increase traffic, conversions and improve sales. Contact us.

I would like Facebook / Twitter on my website?

Sure, no problem. We can help integrate these features into your new website. Managing and running social media campaigns is something completely different, please contact us for more information on packages.

Do you offer mailboxes? Will it work with my iPhone, Blackberry or Tablet?

Yes, we are an authorized Google Reseller. We setup and support Google Apps for Work accounts. Please contact us for more information and cost.

I have a software problem. My internet is not working. I need new hardware. Can you help? Do you offer ADSL?

Please contact your ISP for support. Your local IT Shop can offer support on software, networks and It hardware.

Can I update my website myself?

Yes, if you subscribed to one of our CarePlans, you are given training and support using the CMS.

 

 

Do I pay extra for email, phone and website updates support?

Support is only included in our CarePlan packages. We would like to be there when you have a question or need some advice.  Please contact us for more information. If you are on a pay-as-you-go package all support is charged at our standard hourly rate and billed in 15min increments. Invoices for support are sent out monthly.
