Let your clients know you will not be able to respond to their email immediately. Activate your “Out of Office” auto responders which informs the sender that you are away. Also let your clients know when you will be able to attend to their query. If you have somebody on support, provide this information.
Do you receive enquiries through online forms on your website? Update your auto enquiry message to let the enquirer know that you will not be able to attend to their request at present. This is also a good opportunity to wish clients well over the festive season.
